PSG €35m striker offered to AC Milan

The 21-year-old French striker wants more game time. PSG are open to let him leave and AC Milan are interested.

The AC Milan attack has gone a near total overhaul for next season. Not only on the wings but especially in the centre forward position. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has retired and the Rossoneri are trying to sell Divock Origi in the meantime. Only Olivier Giroud remains from the old guard while Colombo is just passing by.

Noah Okafor has joined from Red Bull Salzburg but AC Milan plan to sing another centre forward until the end of the summer transfer window. Argentine striker Alejo Veliz is considered front runner for job. However, AC Milan have been offered recently the chance to sign Hugo Ekitike from PSG.

The highly rated French talent did really well during his time at Reims earning a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain for a reported fee of  €35 million, bonuses included. Nevertheless, Ekitike has had a difficult start to his career at PSG. In his first season with the French giants Ekitike scored 4 goals and provided as many assists in 32 appearances.

It was a near impossible job for Ekitike securing a starting spot in PSG’s star studded attack composed of Mbappe, Messi and Neymar. Competitions is expected to remains high this season as well with PSG on the market for a top striker. That’s why Ekitike is looking around for better options and has offered himself to AC Milan according to Tuttosport.

The Italian newspaper reports that PSG are open to let Hugo leave on loan this summer but an option to make the transfer permanent would cost at least €20 million. For the moment the AC Milan management has prioritized the sale of several players that are no longer part of the project. A new forward will surely arrive but probably by mid-August or later.
